Not your average cut and color.

Strengths

• The Brazilian Keratin treatment is the latest and greatest thing in hair straightening. Though it may not get your hair as stick straight or last quite as long as the Japanese version, it's much healthier. It's also appropriate for all hair types -- even colored and highlighted -- and leaves your hair shiny, straight, and healthy.
• Han is pure genius. Cut, color, straightening and make-up. He is my self-esteem god.
• This is the type of recommendation I don't want to write - I want Han all to myself! Unfortunately, I love him so much that my conscience is forcing me to reveal this secret. (But if he gets too popular, I'm removing this recommendation pronto.)

Shortcomings

• You're going to look like a supermodel when you leave the salon, and you'll definitely want to go out afterwards. You don't think that's a shortcoming? Well, here's the irony: you may never make it out. Han won't let you leave until he is finished. Whether that takes a minute or six hours, you are his until he says so. I have missed a dinner and was late for a Broadway show. It was worth it.

Insider tips

• Han actually likes working odd hours -- I think he'd actually work from midnight until the wee hours of the morning if you really wanted him to. Bring some food and a bottle of wine, step outside for a smoke, talk and laugh with him for hours. His passion is inspiring and contagious. This is not your average cut and color; this is an "experience."

Anecdotes

• The way I talk about him, you would think I'd been seeing Han for years. In fact, I met him less than two months ago. I went to Capelli D'Oro because I wanted to try the Brazilian Keratin Treatment and was serendipitously handed over to Han. During the treatment he suggested a hair cut and color for me. Even though I trust no one with my hair -- I've been seeing the same person for years -- I let him cut it. Fabulous.
• Then he asked if he could do my make-up for my date that night. It was the most natural, absolute BEST make-up that I have ever had. And I'm an actress. I've had TV and film pros try to make me gorgeous, but they didn't even come close to matching Han's skill.
• Then came the color. I went back, closed my eyes, prayed, and let him go to town. Perfect. I'm obsessed. If I ever get married, he's my man. For hair and make-up, that is, though now that I think about it . . .
